At Bamboo Lounge we teach local ethnic minority people with no prior knowledge of English language, food and drink preparation or customer service how to work with us.

We start off with naming ingredients, learning how to wash hands and dishes properly, and move on to preparing food, cocktails, serving customers and in time, business management.

Our profit supports Luang Namtha’s Books In Schools program whereby we are increasing the current level of textbooks from 1 per 3 students to 1 set for everyone.  So far we’ve donated over 2,800 books.
