URGENT UPDATE: Due to the recent political unrest in Thailand, we need your help to keep our training restaurant ticking over during the low season. Please help us by donating $1 or more to our cause and sharing this message with your friends.
Bamboo Lounge Training Restaurant is in the centre of Luang Namtha, northern Laos.
We invite young ethnic minority people with no prior English language skills, no food or drinks preparation experience, and no customer service experience to come and learn with us.
We are currently the only place in the entire province where young Lao people can come to learn these skills.
We aim to provide a place where it is fun to learn, and a relaxed and friendly atmosphere for our customers to hang out.
Our trainees come from the ethnic minority tribes Sida, Tai Dam, Tai Lue, Yao and Khmu.
